Formulations Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret, troubleshoot, and document laboratory tests and procedures in a cGMP production environment
• Formulate products safely and compliantly according to published SOPs, Work Instructions, and recipes
• Act as the primary formulation specialist for large tank formulations (100-2000 L fill volume)
• Conduct analytical testing using both manual and automated methods
• Perform calibration on production equipment
• Document test results, procedures, and processes, and may write experiment reports, summaries, and protocols

Requirements

• Higher education or specialized training/certification in a scientific or lab-based major
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience working in a laboratory environment and handling open chemicals
• Prior experience with product formulation
• Experience using analytical balances with limits in the sub-milligram range
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs
