Formulation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform proper formulation of tanks, including weighing, labeling, and staging materials according to standardized formulas.
• Adhere strictly to cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures within the Mixing and Tank Rooms.
• Inspect, clean, and re-palletize raw materials received from the warehouse.
• Use a powered industrial truck (PIT) to transport materials and perform manual blending of raw materials into chemical solution tanks.
• Conduct scheduled cleaning activities, including climbing into mixing tanks using a ladder and safety harness.
• Navigate the computerized Production Operating Management System (POMS) to document batch information.
• Obtain samples and perform scheduled quality checks to ensure product integrity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic English communication skills (written and oral).
• Basic mathematics and computer skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds continuously and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to pass a PIT physical and obtain PIT Operator Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Career Readiness Certification (CRC) at the Silver Level.
