Formulation Manufacturing Technician, Senior

Responsibilities

• Manufacture intermediates and bulk materials for production and R&D according to product specifications and established procedures.
• Coordinate and execute activities in manufacturing laboratories to meet production needs while maintaining ISO and GMP standards.
• Operate laboratory and process equipment, including FTIR Spectrometers, DSC, reaction vessels, mixers, and three-roll mills.
• Perform pre-production activities, including proofing reference rings and color matching to industry standards.
• Assist with the development and execution of validation projects, SOP reviews, and in-process testing.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through IFS transactions and support physical inventories.
• Support Research and Development activities, including product/process development trials and raw material characterization.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and troubleshoot equipment or process deviations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 75+ pound pails.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Ink, formulation, or Chemical Processing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, MSDS sheets, and operating manuals.
• Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to convert between English and Metric units and calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
• Ability to use simple statistical methods and interpret data graphically.
