Forming Process Specialist

Responsibilities

• Inspect ware from active production lines daily for appearance and defects
• Provide technical support during preventative maintenance activities including section unit and process changes
• Analyze basic forming process data points
• Ensure adherence to plant safety rules and company policies
• Manage job histories and machine set-ups to meet KPIs and quality goals
• Track daily KPIs related to the forming process

Requirements

• High School diploma
• At least 5 years of related experience in IS glass machine forming process
• Experience tracking job performance and determining root cause for quality issues
• Experience managing, training, and developing hourly employees
• Experience with glass conditioning
• Understanding of mold repair, machine repair technology, and forehearth operations
• Technical background in glass manufacturing and plant processes
