Forming Process Specialist

Responsibilities

• Inspect ware from active production lines daily for appearance and defects to assist with remediation.
• Provide technical support and scheduling during preventative maintenance, including section unit and mechanism replacements.
• Analyze forming process data points and track daily KPIs to meet quality and performance goals.
• Ensure adherence to plant safety rules, company policies, and procedures.
• Manage job histories and machine set-ups to optimize efficiency.
• Support and stabilize job performance during transitions and job changes.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• At least 5 years of experience in IS glass machine forming processes.
• Proven experience in glass manufacturing and bottle making.
• Strong understanding of mold repair, machine repair technology, and forehearth operations.
• Experience managing, training, and developing hourly employees.
• Experience with glass conditioning.
