About the role
Responsibilities
- Train apprentices and employees on turning technology
- Deliver inter-company courses to apprentices
- Participate in the development of training programs and update course materials
- Regularly monitor and evaluate acquired knowledge and skills
- Maintain and regularly develop pedagogical and technical skills
Requirements
- CFC in mechanics (4 years)
- Confirmed experience in setup, adjustment, and tool changes on Tornos and Citizen turning technologies
- Experience in training apprentices
- Proficiency in programming; knowledge of cutting and rolling is an asset
- Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback to the younger generation
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships based on trust
