Formal Methods Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish a new Formal Methods team to provide feedback for agentic programming and validate agent-generated code
• Develop and integrate formal methods tools to advance software reliability and correctness
• Translate cutting-edge research into practical tools deployed across the firm
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to adopt proof-oriented techniques

Requirements

• Deep experience with formal methods
• Strong software engineering skills with ability to build practical tools from research
• Background in proof assistants, automated theorem provers, static analysis, refinement types, or related areas
• Excellent interpersonal skills for highly collaborative team environments
