Form Setter/Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Set and align forms to desired pitch and depth
• Check forms for proper construction
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using various hand and power tools
• Monitor environmental effects on concrete curing
• Produce rough concrete surfaces and mold expansion joints
• Apply hardening, sealing, and waterproofing compounds
• Maintain safety standards and awareness of surroundings

Requirements

• One year of concrete experience
• Ability to tie rebar/steel and build concrete forms
• Proficiency with all types of hand tools
• Ability to mix, pour, and finish concrete
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and irregular hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one year of general construction experience
