Forklift Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts in accordance with company procedures
• Receive, unload and put away incoming deliveries
• Transfer stock between intake, storage and production areas
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently and accurately
• Complete daily forklift safety checks and report any defects
• Ensure stock is rotated and stored correctly
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant paperwork or system transactions
• Support inventory accuracy through stock checks and audits
• Adhere to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene requirements
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organised

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing or food production environment
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
• Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments
• Previous experience using warehouse management systems
• Pivot steer or other MHE licences
