Forklift PIV Operator

Responsibilities

• Complete daily safety check sheets on forklifts
• Load and unload parts or materials from trucks
• Scan parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy
• Keep assembly lines and associated departments stocked with the proper amount of parts
• Maintain neat and organized stock areas
• Abide by all company safety policies and ISO standards
• Use proper radio etiquette and provide departmental backup as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid lift truck operator's license or ability to successfully complete training
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn facility layout, Janus scanning guns, and AS400 systems
• Ability to work overtime as needed
