Forklift PIV Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and PIV equipment to load and unload parts or materials from trucks
• Complete daily safety check sheets on forklifts and abide by all safety policies
• Scan parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain assembly lines and associated departments by stocking the proper amount of parts
• Keep all stock areas neat, organized, and compliant with ISO standards
• Use proper radio etiquette and provide departmental backup as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid lift truck operator's license or willingness to successfully complete training
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday night–Thursday night, 10pm–6am) and overtime as needed
• Willingness to learn Janus scanning guns and AS400 systems
