Forklift PIV Operator

Responsibilities

• Complete daily safety check sheets on forklifts
• Load and unload parts or materials from trucks
• Scan all parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy
• Keep assembly lines and associated departments stocked with appropriate part levels
• Maintain neat and organized stock areas
• Follow all applicable ISO standards, safety policies, and procedures
• Use proper radio etiquette and provide departmental backup as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid lift truck operator's license or the ability to successfully complete training
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday night–Thursday night, 10pm–6am) and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Janus scanning guns and procedures
• Knowledge of the AS400 system
