Forklift/Order Picker

Responsibilities

• Read incoming orders and select correct items from warehouse shelves using barcodes or serial numbers
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery, including sit-down, stand-up, and cherry-pickers
• Stage items for delivery and securely shrink-wrap products before packaging
• Update stock inventory and manage stock control, including item replenishment
• Load items into delivery vehicles and perform general warehouse duties
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Certification (minimum 1 year)
• Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Proven experience operating a cherry-picker forklift
• Ability to read and write in the English language
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (such as JD Edwards)
• Knowledge of inventory management processes
