Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate various material handling equipment including conventional forklifts, stockpickers, reach trucks, tuggers, and walkie stackers
• Transport component parts and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning parts to and from proper locations using RF devices and WM systems
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs or damage
• Support production lines to ensure schedule attainment and assist with setting up production lines
• Execute daily 6S activities, including housekeeping and maintaining an organized work area
• Consolidate and right-size inventory to optimize storage utilization

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Valid forklift license and driver's license
• Proficiency using RF guns and basic math skills
• Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, standing, or walking for extended periods
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively within a team environment
• Ability to work in a factory environment and work assigned overtime when necessary
