Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Manage distribution center functions including receiving, replenishing, and shipping small package orders
• Read pick labels to accurately identify catalog numbers and merchandise quantities
• Obtain products from bins, repack items, and zone merchandise as required
• Build pallets according to specific patterns and place products on conveyors
• Use finger scanners/RDT to process orders and maintain accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area free of debris
• Follow all written and verbal instructions to meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of distribution center methods, procedures, and layout
• Ability to operate powered equipment (such as Dock Stocker and Cherry Picker) safely and efficiently
• Ability to operate a forklift for the entire duration of a shift
• Proficiency using finger scanners or RDT devices
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific rules or patterns
• Ability to meet attendance and overtime requirements
• Basic math skills and legible handwriting
