Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer inspections for inbound and outbound orders to ensure security and temperature compliance.
• Load and unload products using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners while maintaining paperwork accuracy.
• Receive incoming products, verifying case counts, code dates, pallet counts, and condition.
• Manage put-away of received products into storage and replenish pick locations for customer orders.
• Conduct daily Powered Industrial Truck inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and quality programs.
• Report all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management.

Requirements

• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted frequently throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in cold warehouse environments and around moving equipment.
• Effective English communication skills (reading and speaking).
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to work an assigned schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish colors.
