Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks, to move products through the warehouse and onto trucks
• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain equipment energy sources
• Load and unload trucks for customer distribution
• Use electronic equipment to ensure accurate inventory tracking
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and forms, including safety inspection sheets
• Follow standard work policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a healthy work environment
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on palletizing equipment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proven experience in forklift operations
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and place up to 25 pounds of inventory
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to speak additional languages
