Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pulp from rail wagons, trucks, containers, and vessels
• Use clamp forklifts to safely handle, stack, and move pulp bales
• Allocate pulp accurately to customer orders
• Load and unload containers using a top lifter onto trucks
• Complete electronic scanning and documentation accurately
• Maintain a safe working environment and report all incidents or near misses
• Work collaboratively within the marshalling and warehousing team

Requirements

• Proven experience operating clamp forklifts
• Full Class 1 Driver License
• New Zealand citizenship
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Ability to work flexible day and night shifts in a 24/7 environment
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a container top lifter
