Forklift Operator, Putaway

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment including tugs, forklifts, and pallet jacks
• Control the flow of products being received into the warehouse
• Maintain clean and functional equipment and report any repair or service needs
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and sanitation policies to prevent accidents
• Use equipment horns when driving out of storage areas or entering intersections
• Plug equipment into power sources when not in use to ensure operational availability

Requirements

• 2 years of warehouse experience
• Ability to pass mandatory ergonomics testing
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
• Proficiency in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety and security policies
• Ability to manage work time efficiently in a deadline-oriented atmosphere
