Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Ensure roasting, blanching, and sorting processes deliver safe, quality products on time and cost-effectively
• Perform pre-startup equipment and work area checks to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
• Inspect raw materials for quality and cleanliness
• Unload and receive various shipment types including truckload, LTL, UPS, and airfreight
• Load export containers using mechanical or hand methods while maximizing cube utilization
• Manage material rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
• Utilize JDE system for all receiving, shipping, and warehouse move transactions
• Create and apply pallet labels for all resources

Requirements

• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift, reach above shoulders, bend, crouch, kneel, and stoop
• Ability to work in environments with dust, high heat, or humidity
• Ability to climb or work off a ladder

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
