Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklifts to stack, move, and store merchandise in designated areas
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to appropriate storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring exact counts and types are loaded
• Use RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy and perform picking duties
• Conduct cycle counts and assist in physical inventories to ensure inventory control
• Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation and report safety concerns to management
• Maintain appropriate records and report inventory discrepancies to the control team

Requirements

• At least 3 months of experience operating a forklift or warehouse distribution equipment
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
• Proficiency with Excel and general computer knowledge
• Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain NFI forklift certification
