Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklifts to move, stack, and store merchandise in designated areas
• Unload inbound shipments and move products to appropriate storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type
• Use RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy and perform picking duties
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories to ensure inventory control
• Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation and report safety concerns to management
• Maintain appropriate records and report inventory discrepancies to the control team

Requirements

• At least 3 months of experience operating a forklift or warehouse distribution equipment
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
• Proficiency with Excel and general computer knowledge
• Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching
• Availability to work the scheduled shift (Mon-Fri 10:00pm-6:30am) and extended hours as needed
• Ability to obtain NFI forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
