Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklifts to stack, move, and locate merchandise
• Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type
• Perform picking duties and conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory control
• Use RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy
• Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation
• Maintain a safe work environment by reporting safety concerns to management
• Assist with physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation

Requirements

• At least 3 months of experience operating a forklift or warehouse distribution equipment
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours in a large distribution center
• Proficiency with RF scanning equipment and general computer knowledge
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain NFI forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
