About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklifts to stack, move, and locate merchandise
- Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type
- Perform picking duties and conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory control
- Use RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy
- Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation
- Maintain a safe work environment by reporting safety concerns to management
- Assist with physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation
Requirements
- At least 3 months of experience operating a forklift or warehouse distribution equipment
- Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
- Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours in a large distribution center
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment and general computer knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to obtain NFI forklift certification
