About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklifts to stack, store, and move merchandise in designated areas
- Unload inbound shipments safely and relocate products to appropriate storage locations
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring exact counts and types are loaded
- Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards
- Use RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock rotation
- Conduct cycle counts and assist in physical inventories
- Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation and report safety concerns to management
- Maintain appropriate records to guarantee inventory control and security
Requirements
- At least 3 months of experience operating a forklift or other warehouse distribution equipment
- Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours in a large distribution center environment
- Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment and general computer knowledge, including Excel
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to obtain NFI forklift certification
