Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklifts to stack, store, and move merchandise in designated areas
• Unload inbound shipments safely and relocate products to appropriate storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring exact counts and types are loaded
• Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards
• Use RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock rotation
• Conduct cycle counts and assist in physical inventories
• Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation and report safety concerns to management
• Maintain appropriate records to guarantee inventory control and security

Requirements

• At least 3 months of experience operating a forklift or other warehouse distribution equipment
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours in a large distribution center environment
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
• Proficiency with RF scanning equipment and general computer knowledge, including Excel
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain NFI forklift certification
