Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport grocery products
• Load and unload trucks, move pallets, and stack products in designated areas
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts to ensure accurate tracking
• Collaborate with team members to pick and stage products for shipment
• Adhere to all company and OSHA safety protocols
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report repair needs
• Communicate with supervisors to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass internal forklift operator certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating stand-up forklifts in a warehouse
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety protocols
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand/bend for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees and below)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
