Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble building materials and lumber for shipment, delivery, and customer pick-up
• Operate forklift trucks in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on forklift equipment
• Pick materials for current and upcoming orders to ensure efficient workflow
• Assist in loading trucks and restocking materials as required
• Utilize WMS scanner guns for receiving, put away, moving, cycle inventory, and shipping
• Monitor material quality and identify missing or damaged items

Requirements

• 2 years of warehouse or material handling experience
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently in a physically demanding role
• Proficiency using WMS systems and scanner guns
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment and handle a fast-paced schedule
• Availability to work Monday through Friday (10:30 AM – 7:00 PM+) and at least one Saturday per month, with flexibility for overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of specific warehouse operations experience
• 1-2 years of experience with building materials or in the construction industry
