Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Transport, retrieve, and store pallets within the warehouse facility
• Load and unload trucks and deliver materials to appropriate locations
• Perform general warehouse duties including loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products
• Conduct inventory counts, product rotation checks, and assist with organization
• Use handheld scanners to transfer inventory with high accuracy
• Perform general production duties such as filling, pouring, pressing, packing, and labeling products
• Maintain cleanliness and perform general housekeeping and equipment cleaning

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical work for 8-hour shifts, including standing, bending, pulling, and pushing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment like picking carts and pump-trucks
• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Basic mathematics skills for counting and inventory
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Experience with counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics AX
