Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport, load, and unload laminate flooring materials and finished products
• Inspect forklifts before each shift to ensure proper functioning and report maintenance issues
• Stack and organize materials according to warehouse layout and inventory systems
• Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels
• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA guidelines
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and production teams
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Verify product quality and integrity during handling and storage
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits

Requirements

• Valid forklift operator certification or license
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling best practices
• Ability to read and interpret inventory management systems and documentation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with laminate flooring products or similar building materials
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
• Experience operating multiple types of material handling equipment
