Forklift Operator II

Responsibilities

• Operate various material handling equipment including sit-down/standup, clamp, cherry, and reach equipment to move, stack, and store merchandise
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to designated storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring exact counts and types are loaded
• Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards
• Maintain inventory accuracy through RF scanning equipment, cycle counts, and physical inventories
• Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation and report safety concerns to management
• Utilize Excel and general computer knowledge to maintain appropriate records and reports

Requirements

• At least 1 year of forklift or warehouse distribution equipment experience
• Forklift certification on at least 3 pieces of equipment
• Proficiency with RF scanning equipment
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours in a warehouse environment
• Basic math, computer, and Excel skills
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
