Forklift Operator II

Responsibilities

• Operate various material handling equipment including sit-down/standup, clamp, cherry, and reach equipment to move, stack, and locate merchandise
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to designated storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring exact counts and types are loaded
• Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical inventories and cycle counts
• Use RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy
• Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation and report safety concerns to management
• Utilize Excel and general computer knowledge to manage inventory data and reports

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift or other warehouse distribution equipment
• Forklift certification on at least 3 different pieces of equipment
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours) in a large warehouse environment
• Proficiency with RF scanning equipment and basic computer/Excel skills
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
