Forklift Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely to move, stack, and count merchandise
• Complete and document required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment
• Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment using RF scanning devices
• Verify correct quantity and product type for outbound loads
• Assist with physical inventory counts and periodic cycle counts
• Maintain required documentation to support inventory accuracy and security
• Report safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to management promptly

Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or pull between 10 lbs and 50 lbs without restrictions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10–12 hours per shift)
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification
• Basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months of forklift or warehouse distribution equipment experience preferred
