Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trucks and warehouse storage
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Mark or tag identification on loads
• Record data including product quantities, meter readings, and shipment dates/times
• Read gauges or charts and record obtained data
• Perform daily equipment checks, including cleaning and checking fluid levels
• Monitor equipment operations to detect and report malfunctions to supervisors
• Maintain a clean warehouse, work area, and equipment
• Comply with all safety, environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (or 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse/open area)
• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a forklift
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures while performing tasks
• Ability to read gauges, charts, and record accurate data
