Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move them within the facility
• Operate lifting devices including forklifts, lift beams, hoists, and elevating platforms
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and transport vehicles
• Weigh materials and record production data on tags or labels
• Operate automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines
• Use scan gun equipment to supply components to different departments
• Follow EPC Safety, GMP, and Lean 5S policies

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in distribution or manufacturing
• Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts or stock pickers
• Ability to obtain certification for mobile equipment operation
