Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using various forklifts or power equipment
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring exact counts and types are loaded
• Perform case-picking and order selecting by hand (up to 45lbs) on a sit-down fork truck
• Verify load accuracy, checking for stability and product damage
• Maintain inventory accuracy by keeping appropriate records and reports
• Complete daily equipment inspections and monitor power sources (battery or LP tank)
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS safety standards
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly facility and equipment area

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate (or completion of a training program within 30 days of employment)
• Six months of forklift operation experience
• Six months of warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sit-Down forklifts
• Experience in General Labor and Quality Control
