Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using various forklifts or power equipment
• Perform case-picking by hand for approximately 80% of the shift, lifting up to 75lbs
• Operate MHE including forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring exact counts and types are loaded
• Verify load accuracy, stability, and check for product damage
• Maintain appropriate records for inventory accuracy and complete daily equipment inspections
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS safety standards
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks as necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck
• Experience with warehouse picking and placing pallets in/out of racks
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs and stand, bend, or lift for long periods
• Forklift operator certificate or ability to complete training within 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
