Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using various forklifts or power equipment
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring exact counts and types are loaded
• Verify load accuracy by checking count, stability, and inspecting for product damage
• Maintain appropriate records and reports to ensure inventory accuracy
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS safety standards
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and monitor power sources (battery or LP tank)
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly facility and work area
• Assist with physical inventories and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of a training program within 30 days of employment
• Six months of forklift operation experience
• Six months of warehouse experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
