Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to receive, deliver, and move materials throughout the manufacturing plant
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments following safety protocols
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare outbound shipments with proper packaging, labeling, and documentation
• Move PVC scrap materials to the grinder and full lineal bins to the warehouse staging area
• Support production lines through shift handovers
• Prioritize orders and determine delivery sequences based on production needs
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow all OSHA safety procedures

Requirements

• 2-3 years of forklift operating experience
• High School Diploma or GED mandatory
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to read, write, and speak simple English for a manufacturing environment
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to read production tags, paperwork, and safety warning labels
