Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Lift and stack merchandise on/off conveyor lines, semi-trailers, pallets, or storage racks
• Operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order selectors for at least 80% of working hours
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to perform job duties
• Verify quantities and complete order paperwork accurately using basic math skills
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety, hazardous material, and OSHA regulations
• Handle full cases of product, including consistent lifting of cartons and merchandise

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to operate forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order selectors
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more frequently
• Ability to stand or walk for the entire duration of a shift
• Basic math skills for verifying quantities and completing documentation
• Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, and kneeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a distribution center environment
