Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Unload and load inbound, outbound, and transfer trailers
• Move products between different areas of the facility
• Up-stack and down-stack products for storage, loading, and inventory purposes
• Maintain dock cleanliness by keeping floors and equipment clear of debris, such as stretch wrap, wood, dust, snow, and ice
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work in extreme temperature-controlled environments ranging from 0 to -20 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to read and speak simple sentences
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions
