Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Provide loading and reloading services for sales, production, freight, and distribution routes
• Load product packages and complete pallets according to load markings and route requirements
• Organize and store products in assigned racks, ensuring compliance with PVPS/PEPS (First In, First Out) systems
• Perform pallet, product, and container organization and arrangement
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical failures to the motor shop
• Manage waste containers and collect empties for return to production lines
• Receive products and verify freshness codes using inventory management protocols
• Load products into trailers for shipment to distribution centers and affiliates

Requirements

• Minimum of secondary school studies
• At least 1 year of experience operating seated gas forklifts
• Knowledge of PVPS/PEPS inventory systems
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on forklift units
• Proficiency in product care and handling
