Forklift Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment to unload and receive raw materials (truckload, LTL, railcar, and tanker)
• Ensure all supplier documentation is complete, correct, and verified
• Accurately count and verify all raw materials prior to unloading
• Pull and stage all raw materials required for production
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and ensure the Material Inventory Tracking System (MITS) matches physical stock
• Assist with cycle counting requirements for all raw materials
• Complete InterPlant Transfers (IPT) accurately
• Adhere to all compliance standards including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years of forklift experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control systems such as MITS, AMAPS, or Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
