Forklift Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and perform daily equipment checks, including propane tank exchanges
• Manage material movement between production lines and storage using FIFO inventory methods
• Conduct inventory management tasks such as cycle counts, year-end inventory, and bundle tracking
• Inspect finished goods for proper labeling, packaging, and quality standards
• Maintain warehouse organization, including work areas, equipment, and refuse management
• Assist with shipping and receiving of finished goods and raw materials
• Support production line operations during startups, shutdowns, and breaks
• Provide packaging supplies and materials to production areas
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in warehouse procedure reviews

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
• 4-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of PC systems and applications
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as necessary
