Forklift Driver 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials shipped to and from interplant and outside facilities
• Operate manual and power material handling equipment to retrieve, put away, and replenish materials
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to document and process shipping and receiving orders
• Verify transaction accuracy through physical inspection of goods to validate condition
• Ensure pallets are built correctly based on specific customer and supplier criteria
• Complete pre-shift checklists on all powered equipment, including battery water and charging
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sorting pallets and wrapping cardboard
• Follow all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient computer skills, including ability to navigate Microsoft Windows Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to obtain a Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE) license/forklift certification within 90 days
• Strong English proficiency in reading and writing
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to stand for several hours daily and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a general warehouse environment
