Fork Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift machinery to lift, load, and move materials as directed
• Inspect machinery and assess work areas to ensure safety compliance
• Maintain and repair forklift equipment and log all maintenance procedures
• Load approximately 20 pallets onto a 48' trailer using a forklift
• Drive an automatic day cab with a trailer to customer locations
• Manually unload individual pallets using a hook to pull them onto conveyors
• Support essential logistics operations through storage and transportation

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experienced forklift operation
• Valid TN Class A CDL and an active DOT medical card
• Current forklift certification (or previous certification)
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to use Excel reports
• Experience using RF scanners
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, and kneeling
• Ability to work in various climates, including extreme heat or cold
• Willingness to work a night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and overtime as needed
