About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate counterbalance forklifts to load and unload HGVs
- Direct visiting vehicles and manage the activity flow of production lines
- Maintain stock rotation and carefully handle company hire stock and raw materials
- Assist in the manual inspection and repair of equipment stocks in the yard
- Ensure trucks and equipment are well-maintained and report any operational damage or problems
Requirements
- Valid FLT License (RTITB or ITSSAR preferred; in-house licenses will be considered)
- Experience working in a busy yard environment
- Proven ability to load and unload HGVs
- Ability to work consistent night shifts (Monday–Friday, 10pm–6am)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating double or triple fork FLTs (4.5 Ton)
