About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed retrospective delay analyses using standard methodologies such as As-Planned vs. As-Built, Impacted As-Planned, and Time Impact Analysis.
  • Interrogate baseline schedules and monthly updates to track critical path drift and concurrent delays using Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
  • Prepare, review, and evaluate complex Extension of Time (EoT) claims and disruption submissions.
  • Reconstruct historical project progress using legacy data, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with Project Controls and Construction Management teams to identify emerging schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide expert technical support to project leadership and legal counsel during commercial negotiations, mediations, or litigation.
  • Communicate complex technical delay concepts and conclusions through clear presentations for executive management and legal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in construction scheduling, project controls, and forensic delay analysis on mega-projects or high-value infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of working within Saudi Arabia (KSA).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field.
  • Deep familiarity with FIDIC forms of contract and KSA Government Procurement Laws.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-graduate degree or diploma in Construction Law.
  • Professional certifications such as AACE-PSP, AACE-CFCC, or MRICS.
  • Advanced proficiency in delay analysis software plug-ins like Acumen Fuse.
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic.
