Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-5 person tree crew in performing utility line clearance, tree pruning, and removal services safely and skillfully
• Prune treetops and repair damaged trees through trimming or removal
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• Perform job-site inspections with proper planning and execution of assigned tasks
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Mentor and train new employees on industry standards and safety

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in utility line clearance or related tree work
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to complete company orientation, first aid, CPR, and defensive driving training

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B without air brake restriction
• Relevant pesticide and related licenses/certificates
• ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®
