About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead construction crews in the erection of pre-engineered, prefabricated steel buildings
- Prioritize jobsite safety, conduct safety meetings, and enforce OSHA and company policies
- Manage day-to-day activities, including planning, coordinating, and assigning tasks to workers
- Inspect work for quality and adherence to drawings, plans, and specifications
- Manage tools, equipment, and inventory on site
- Review construction schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Assist the Superintendent with onboarding, training, and disciplinary actions
- Document daily events through professional and accurate daily reports
Requirements
- 5 years of trade experience with expertise in Pre-Engineered Steel Building Erection
- OSHA 30 and First Aid certification
- Certified Aerial Platform and Forklift Operator
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by the company
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and plans
- Ability to use mobile devices and company communication tools
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
