Foreman Rough Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of projects
• Fabricate and cut wood components for construction tasks
• Follow wood framing procedures and techniques to build structural elements
• Install window and door frames with precision
• Assess, repair, and maintain wood structures as needed
• Perform trim and finishing procedures with attention to detail
• Work independently on multi-day tasks from start to finish
• Supervise, guide, and train apprentices and laborers on assigned tasks
• Maintain and properly store tools and equipment

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction experience, preferably with high-end projects
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow construction plans and blueprints
• Basic understanding of engineering requirements related to carpentry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ownership of basic carpentry tools required for the job
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Strong punctuality and professional demeanor
