Foreman, Piping

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct pipe fitters, welders, riggers, fabricators, grinders, and helpers
• Assign daily work to the crew and monitor progress
• Supervise piping fabrication, fit-up, erection, installation, and alignment
• Verify availability of materials, fittings, valves, and supports
• Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Ensure proper installation of pipe supports, valves, flanges, and gaskets
• Enforce compliance with HSE policies and permit-to-work requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE
• Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections and rectification
• Assist in hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, flushing, and pre-commissioning
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

Requirements

• ITI / Trade Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–8 years of experience in piping construction
• 3 years of experience as a Piping Foreman in Oil & Gas projects
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
• Effective communication skills
